Refund & Payment Policy

BriefExams charges ₹49 per full mock test (100 questions, 120 minutes). Payment is processed securely via Razorpay. Once payment is confirmed, your test is unlocked and available to start from your dashboard.

You have 7 days from the date of payment to begin your test. The 7-day window is displayed on your dashboard under “Ready to Start”. If you do not begin the test within 7 days, the entitlement expires. Expired entitlements are not eligible for refund.

Once you click “Begin Test” and the test starts, no refund will be issued regardless of score, performance, or technical issues experienced during the test. This is standard practice for all timed examination platforms.

A refund may be considered only in the following cases:

• Payment was deducted but your test did not appear on your dashboard within 30 minutes of payment.
• You were charged twice for the same exam.
• A verified technical fault on BriefExams' systems prevented you from accessing or completing the test.

Refunds are NOT issued for:

• Change of mind after payment
• Low scores or dissatisfaction with performance
• Failure to start the test within the 7-day window
• Internet connectivity issues on the candidate's end
• Accidental submission or browser closure during the test

If you believe you are eligible for a refund under Section 4, contact us within 48 hours of the incident:

Include: your registered email address, date of payment, and a screenshot of your Razorpay payment confirmation. Requests without payment proof will not be processed.

Eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

BriefExams operates a server-side timer. If you lose internet connectivity during a test:

• Your answers saved up to that point are retained.
• The timer continues running on our servers.
• You may reconnect and resume the test with the time remaining.
• If the 120-minute timer expires during a disconnection, the test is automatically submitted with the answers saved up to that point.

We strongly recommend taking the test on a stable internet connection, preferably on a laptop or desktop using Chrome.

If you are charged twice for the same exam, the duplicate payment will be refunded in full within 5–7 business days. Contact support@briefexams.com with both payment screenshots.

For payment disputes, contact us at support@briefexams.com before raising a chargeback with your bank. We resolve all legitimate disputes promptly. Chargebacks raised without contacting us first may result in account suspension.
